Our Parks. Our Community. Our Future.

Milwaukee Parks Foundation strives to collectively steward a thriving parks system. Through fundraising, raising awareness, building community capacity and partnerships, and advocacy, Milwaukee Parks Foundation (MPF) is dedicated to building a more vibrant and equitable parks system that benefits all.

Milwaukee County Parks Need You

Milwaukee County Parks is one of the top park systems in the nation. Unfortunately, unless something changes, by 2027 Milwaukee County will not have the funds to maintain our parks properly. That means many of our parks may need to close causing thousands of people to lose access to playgrounds, splash pads, sports fields, rec programs, and more.

Milwaukee Parks Foundation (MPF) is working to preserve our parks for future generations. Through fundraising and community engagement, MPF supports park operations and expands access for all people to enjoy our parks.

Give to Parks

Plant the seeds to help us grow.

Your donation will help MPF support Milwaukee County Parks to maintain and update a more vibrant and equitable parks system. Contributions are funneled into three focus areas: safety, youth enrichment, and capital projects. For example, your gift could contribute to refreshed basketball courts, improved aquatics, much needed building upgrades, lighting in parks, and more.

Volunteer in Parks

Be a part of our parks.

Volunteers help keep our parks safe, fun and accessible. It’s also a great way to learn more about your local parks. MPF will help you find community organizations that offer a variety of volunteer opportunities in our parks.
