Learn a new skill or share your passion with others in a supportive and welcoming environment! The Urban Ecology Center’s “Take it Outside Day” welcomes attendees to the Washington Park Lagoon for a day of learning and laughter on the water. Experienced instructors will host learning sessions on common canoe strokes & movements, proper life jacket fitting, and a 20-30 minute introductory experience paddling on the water. 

No experience necessary – just bring your sense of adventure and let’s paddle together! This canoe experience is open for ages 5 and up only.
