Our Parks Need You!

Milwaukee County Parks are vital to our community, providing spaces for recreation, relaxation, and connection. 90% of Milwaukee residents live within a ten-minute walk of a park. Decades of funding cuts means that today, our vast and vibrant park system is in peril.

“I think the parks are essential to our lives and Milwaukee is blessed with that green necklace that surrounds the city so every person has the ability – whether they have space in their house or not – to be able to sit down and listen to the wind or a babbling brook or the birds.”
